Darren August
35 year old Darren August attributes the ever present sparkle in his eye to his passion for life and his determination to fulfil his God given purpose. He is the Founder and CEO of Dazz Consulting, a dynamic training organisation committed to seeing people thrive and succeed. He is the author of the highly acclaimed book – “A TEACHER CHANGED MY LIFE”, a seasoned inspirational speaker, entrepreneur, radio presenter and corporate trainer.
As a Certified Dream Coach – Darren is able and committed to coaching others into creating a “Dream Come True” life by gaining clarity (and taking action) on their dreams. Often referred to as a “Heart Speaker” – Darren has an amazing ability to connect with people from all walks of life and leaves audiences inspired, challenged and ready to start moving.
Since the launch of his first book in 2014, Darren has initiated ‘The Inspirational Teacher Tour’ which has seen him make an indelible impact in South African schools with educators. As a spill –over this has led to numerous engagements with learners in schools across South Africa as well.
The launch of Darren’s newly established brand – INSPIRED sees him bring renewed hope to ordinary South Africans as he spreads a message of hope which encourages people to believe in and pursue their dreams again. In October 2016 Darren released his first Childrens’ Book Series entitled “My Seed of Greatness”.
His dream is to make a difference in the lives of everyday people who sometimes just need to be encouraged to try one more time before they get their breakthrough. Darren’s motto is “Keep Dreaming – and Inspire others to dream.”

Chris Forrest
Chris Forrest has been on the forefront of the South African Comedy scene since the late nineties. His unique dry sense of humour, quick wit and intelligent comedy has made him one of the country’s most popular comedians and ensured that audiences are left in stitches wherever he goes.
As one of S.A comedy’s most versatile performers, Chris has worked in almost every facet of comedy, including; stand-up comedy, improv comedy, sketch comedy (stage, TV and radio), sitcom, feature films, industrial theatre, numerous TV adverts, a comedy rap album and many more weird and wonderful things, Chris also prides himself in his ability to “cross over” having successfully entertained people of all races, religions colours and creeds, across the length and breadth of the country as well as internationally.
Always evolving, Chris looks to be here to stay.

Lizzie Harrison
Lizzie has been working with Emma Sadlier for almost two years. She is a qualified medical doctor, with a BA in Neuroscience, who graduated from Cambridge University in the UK in 2010 and practiced in England as a doctor for 2 years. She has a special interest in Paediatrics and particularly Paediatric Neurology and Psychology. Lizzie has written numerous articles on the topic of Children and Social Media, and Emma and Lizzie are in the process of writing a book addressing the issues surrounding privacy. Lizzie has been involved with Emma in numerous social media legal cases and has assisted in the drafting of submissions to effect changes in the laws surrounding social media in South Africa.

Gavin Keller
Gavin is the CEO of the Sun Valley Group of Schools in Sun Valley, Cape Town. It is a brain-based learning space where PLAY, MOVEMENT, MUSIC, RHYTHM and RHYME meet with systemic SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING to create the necessary scaffolding for high performance academic achievement. As an education consultant, Gavin works with teachers, parents and students both internationally and nationally. He is passionate about teaching students to understand how their brain processes data in order to achieve their true potential.

Kathie Nunley
Dr Kathie F Nunley delights teachers from around the globe with her practical and information-packed talks on the brain and humorous insights into how students learn. She is an educational psychologist, researcher and best-selling author of several books on parenting and teaching in inclusive classrooms, including A Student’s Brain (Brains.org) and the bestselling, “Differentiating the High School Classroom” (Corwin Press). Dr Nunley is the developer of the Layered Curriculum® method of instruction and has worked with parents, educators and private industry on creating brain-friendly environments. She has been an advisor and trainer to public and independent schools across the US and Canada as well as ministries of education in South Africa, Botswana, and Namibia and a host of international schools. In addition, her work has been used by the Boeing Corporation, Family Circle Magazine, USA Today, Canadian Living, the Washington Post and ABC television.

Nicholas Spaull
Dr Nic Spaull is a well-known education researcher in South Africa. He has recently returned from Paris where he was a Thomas J Alexander Fellow at the OECD, and before that a Visiting Scholar in the Graduate School of Education at Stanford University in the United States. Nic has a PhD in economics and has published numerous journal articles on education focusing on assessment, accountability, literacy and education policy in South Africa. He is a research fellow at the Universities of Stellenbosch and Johannesburg and also sits on the Joint Advisory Committee of the South African Human Rights Commission. He has recently been awarded an ESRC/DFID grant to research exceptional township and rural schools in South Africa in 2016/17. Nic has been involved in a number of research projects for local and international organisations, including the South African Presidency, the Department of Basic Education, UNICEF, the EU, UNESCO and SACMEQ. The most recent of which was the “Binding Constraints in Education” project for the South African Presidency and the EU. He advises numerous NGO’s, policy-makers and grant-making bodies, and also regularly updates his website (nicspaull.com) with new research and articles he finds interesting.
